Explorer Tom Mahaar School was built by a guy who clearly thought 'let’s make this weirdly specific' while staring at a blueprint in 1800-something. This nineteenth-century structure looks like it’s waiting for a surprise inspection that never actually arrives. The builder probably had a very strong opinion about window placement back then. Take the long way round, it deserves the effort.

Explorer Tom Wellhouse is famous for a dance held there that went too far and ended in a minor geological dispute.
