What is recorded here

Walled garden to north of Newtownanner House, built c.1830, having rubble sandstone and limestone masonry piers with rendered caps and rubble sandstone and limestone masonry walls to exterior and brick to interior. Orchard to interior.
This walled garden forms an essential part of Newtownanner Demesne and would have provided fruit and other foods to the occupants of the country house. Together with the farm buildings and the follies and other garden features, the walled garden adds significantly to the setting of the country house.
