What is recorded here
Terraced two-bay three-storey former house, built c. 1830, now in use as retail outlet. Flat roof with rendered chimneystack. Rendered walls with cast-iron tie-plates. Segmental-arched openings to upper floors with timber sash windows. Timber shopfront comprising of recessed doors flanking timber fixed window, with replacement pilasters, fascia and cornice.
This former house makes a notable and positive addition to the streetscape, due to the scale and form of the building. Though many interesting features and materials have been replaced, this building retains the remains of a late nineteenth-century shopfront and timber sash windows.
