Mullanacross Ring-Barrow above Donegal Bay

Internal diam. 13m. A circular raised area enclosed by an internal fosse 2.5m wide, an earthen bank 1.6m high, and an exter-nal fosse 1.75m wide. It is possible that the ground outside the external fosse has been artifically raised. The site is very overgrown. It is situated on high ground sloping S towards a cliff edge overlooking Donegal Bay. The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal.
