Kilcock Lower holds a univallate rath immediately south of Lynch's house, where a bank of earth and stone still encloses pastureland. Inside the northern sector sits a smaller mound, measuring 1.8 by 2.4 metres, perhaps marking a buried chamber or forgotten shrine. The distinction between a common mound and a defended rath remains blurred, inviting wonder about whether people lived there, worshipped there or simply shaped the land for reasons now lost.

Situated immediately S of Lynch's house on pastureland, univallate rath KE005-028---- is enclosed by a bank of earth and stone morphology. On the interior side of the N sector is a small mound (KE005-028002-), 1.8m x 2.4m externally. The above description is derived from C. Toal, ‘North Kerry Archaeological Survey’. Dingle.
