In improved pasture 50m S of R516 that marks the townland boundary with Camas. Enclosure (LI031-110---) lies 65m to SW. Not depicted on any OSi historic maps. Monument identified as a mound by Grogan (1989, 222) and labelled in his thesis as 'Carrigeen 2'. No surface remains visible on OSi orthophoto taken between 2005-12 or on Google Earth orthoimage dated 20/09/2020.
