Carved limestone keystone to segmental-headed integral carriage arch. 'Joseph Flanagan A.D. 1787 ' carved into keystone, highlighted with black paint. Timber battened double doors to arch, flanked by limestone wheel guards.
This carved keystone with the inscription is set to the apex of an integral carriage arch of a building on the main thoroughfare of Tullamore. The simplicity of the carving is striking and provides interesting information regarding the structure's history.
