Montgoldrum, 'the Camp'

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Montgoldrum, 'the Camp' as Cairn (prehistoric)(possible), Recumbent Stone Circle (neolithic) - (bronze Age). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 10m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.

Neolithic recumbent stone circle, possibly with later Bronze Age additions. It is significant as a rare and enigmatic type of prehistoric monument found mainly in northern Britain.
