In tillage. A rectangular enclosure (int. dims. c. 34m NE-SW; c. 37m NW-SE) enclosed by a wide deep fosse (Wth c. 4m) identified as a cropmark by Gillian Barrett on an aerial photograph (GB94.FI.29, August 1994). Also visible as a cropmark on Google Earth imagery (imagery date 14 July 2018; 3 July 2019) identified by Simon Dowling, with a linear cropmark (L c. 30m) running NW from the N angle and another (L c. 80m) running SE from the S end of the SE side, possibly part of an associated field system.
