In pasture, on S-facing slope. Rectangular area (31.5m N-S; 25.5m E-W) enclosed by earthen bank (H 1.2m); external fosse (D 0.6m) to W and N with faint depression on E. Trace of possible outer bank to W. Planted with conifers. Modern stone-walled enclosure adjoins W side.
