Shown on 1938-39 'OS 6-inch' map as rectangular area enclosed by bank (max. dims. c. 60m NNW-SSE, 50m ENE-WSW). Situated in small ill-drained hollow. Field drain may follow line of W fosse. No other indications. Probably a moated site.
