What is recorded here

Situated on a low rise, in undulating pasture, with good views in all directions. Ringfort (WM025-051----) with hut site (WM025-051001-) lies c. 80m to SW. Monument described in as a roughly subrectangular-shaped area enclosed by an inner bank, an intervening fosse and an outer bank with entrance (Wth at top 7.3m; Wth at base 4.3m) and causeway (overall Wth 5m; Wth at top 1.7m; H 0.6m) at E. he low inner bank has very gently curved sides and four definite corners. The fosse is flat-bottomed and the outer bank is very low and fragmentary. The fosse and outer bank are absent along the S portion of the E side. The interior has a general SE-facing slope and is cut by cultivation ridges running E-W. A field bank running N-S is incorporated into the outer bank at W and the fosse is much disturbed at this location.
