What is recorded here

Monument described by O'Kelly (1942-3, 233) as following; 'This seems to have been a platform structure. It was nearly square with the corners rounded of. Around it was a fosse. The monument has been partially levelled. It is shown on the early edition of the O.S. but not on the last. The overall dimension is 110' [33.5m]. The platform is now only about 2' [0.6m] high. The large field in which the monument is situate is intersected by ancient fences and in one case by what may be a sunken road-way. The structure is to the north of, and within sight of Caherguillamore House, [LI031-041019-] and may be an outlying part of the complex, village [LI031-041001-], lies to the east and south of that dwelling'.
