On a broad E-W ridge or shelf. Rectangular grass-covered area (dims 50m E-W; 29.3m N-S) defined by earthen banks (Wth 3-3.2m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 1.1-1.4m) at N and S with fosses or moats (Wth of top 4.3m at S to 6m at N; Wth of base 2.5-3m; D 0.1-0.4m) at every side. An original entrance is not identified. It is surrounded by field banks at W and N.
