At the crest of a S-facing slope. Rectangular grass-covered area (dims 44.1m N-S; 41.6m E-W) defined by flat-topped earthen banks (Wth of base 3-3.6m; Wth of top 0.9-1.1m; int. H 0.5-0.9m; ext. H 1m at E to 1.7m at W), and fosses or moats which are partly or wholely filled in on all sides except the W (Wth of top 3.2m; Wth of base 2m; D 0.7m). There are numerous gaps in the bank, but an original entrance cannot be identified.
