Situated on SSE facing slope of a low rise surrounded by lowlying rushy wet grassland with good views to the SW & W. Ringfort (WM011-085----) 20m to NW. Townland boundary with Ballyhoreen 5m to S. A small rectangular shaped area (dims. 11m N-S; 13.5m E-W) enclosed by a low earthen bank and a slight external fosse. The bank is best preserved from NE-SW, while the external fosse is best preserved along the NW side of the monument.
