What is recorded here

Ruins of detached seven-bay three-storey mill building, with 1853 date plaque, and retaining cast-iron wheel. Destroyed by fire c.1995. Various concrete and corrugated sheeted extensions added between c.1920 and 1980, which are still part occupied. Double-pitched roofs, natural slate and corrugated fibre cement with Perspex roof lights. Coursed rubble limestone walls, concrete blockwork, corrugated iron, inscription on date stone difficult to read - "..Morgan...April 1853". Brick dressings in original mill - all glazing and window joinery destroyed.
