Midden in Cloghboley is a midden in Cloghboley, County Sligo, Ireland. It lies in the land-edge scarp on the north shoreline of Drumcliff Bay, where a thin 1.15m long and 0.05m deep layer of cockle, periwinkle and razor shells sits 1.3m above beach cobbles. The shells form the base of a 0.2m deep brown soil layer beneath a grass-covered overhang that slumps from field level. The midden rests on stony orange boulder clay above a gravelly layer reaching beach level, while two other middens lie 195m and 245m east.

In the land-edge scarp on the N shoreline of Drumcliff Bay. A thin layer (L 1.15m; D 0.05m) of sea shells –cockles, periwinkles, razor shells –is exposed in section at a height of c. 1.3m above the beach cobbles that have accumulated at the scarp base. The shells are visible at the base of a layer (D 0.2m) of brown soil, which underlies a grass/overgrowth-covered overhang (H 1.5-2m) that slumps from field level at the top of the scarp. The midden overlies stony orange-coloured boulder clay, which in turn overlies a gravelly layer which drops to beach level. The full extent and date of the midden are unknown. Two other middens (SL007-054----; and SL007-055----) are located 195m and 245m to E, respectively.
