What is recorded here

Lissadill Castle vanished into County Sligo soil, leaving behind a hollow where stone once stood. Its exact purpose and date remain unknown, but the empty site still marks the border between memory and forgetting. Perhaps it guarded a river crossing or housed a family whose name the land swallowed. The missing facts do not weaken the place; they invite you to stand inside the gap and imagine what the stones knew before they disappeared.
