Merrion Cemetery, Reilig Mhuirfean in Booterstown, holds the drowned soldiers of the Prince of Wales, who struck rocks at Seapoint in 1807 after a snow storm drove them back from Dun Leary. The graveyard closed in 1866 and became a public park in 1978, leaving behind a small green space where the sea still owns the memory of one hundred and twenty young men.
