Aghaglassan may hold a vanished giant's grave, but no one has marked the spot or proved the claim. Bonner wrote about a circle of stones in 1972, yet the place has slipped back into the land like a forgotten name. What is missing is not evidence of life, but evidence that the story still belongs anywhere people can touch.

Bonner (1972, 16) has claimed that there is a 'giant's grave…surrounded by a circle of stones laid in the ground' in this townland.
