End-of-terrace three-bay two-storey house, c.1825. Refenestrated, c.1925. Pitched slate roof with clay ridge tiles, rendered and red brick Running bond chimney stacks, rendered coping to partly wall, and iron rainwater goods on rendered eaves. Painted rendered, ruled and lined wall to front (south) elevation with rendered strips to ends having 'quoin' detailing, and painted roughcast walls to remainder. Square-headed window openings with cut-stone sills, rendered surrounds having chamfered reveals, and replacement one-over-one timber sash windows, c.1925. Square-headed door opening with moulded rendered surround, and timber panelled door having overlight. Interior with timber panelled shutters to window openings. Road fronted with concrete footpath to front.
A well-proportioned small-scale house of modest architectural aspirations retaining the original composition qualities together with most of the early fabric both to the exterior and to the interior, thereby contributing positively to the visual appeal of the street scene.
