Marsh House Farm stands in the Vale of Glamorgan as a post medieval fortified farmhouse, its ordinary function wrapped in defensive purpose. The land may have felt exposed enough to demand walls thick enough to resist invasion, while still leaving room for hearth, herd and harvest. Strength and domestic life did not compete there; they shared one roof.
