Freestanding limestone monument, built c.1905, comprising stepped plinth having carved Celtic cross with interlace and shamrocks in relief, atop tapering base with inscription.

This monument, erected to the memory of the 'Manchester Martyrs', Allen, Larkin and O'Brien, shows evidence of fine stone crafting and carving and incorporates Celtic revival motifs in the form of the cross itself and the interlace.
