Two earth-cut passages hide beneath a levelled ringfort in County Cork, Ireland. A four-metre collapse and two blocked openings mark the site, but the true layout remains hidden from above. They may have served as cellars, refuges or simple storage for the people who lived there. The earth keeps its own counsel, withholding the shape and purpose of what lies below.

In levelled ringfort (CO118-063001-). Two Man-made underground passages (see CO118-063003-) indicated on OS 6-inch map (1944). Area of collapse (diam. c. 4m) and two openings (inaccessible) reveal earth-cut construction. Not possible to distinguish two Man-made underground passages from surface evidence.
