What is recorded here

No visible surface trace in County Cork, Ireland, but a man-made underground passage hides inside the ringfort. A long chamber twenty by four feet has stone-lined walls and a flagged roof, while a tiny opening leads toward a second unseen chamber. The dark space still waits for someone brave enough to crawl through the narrow gap and discover what the builders concealed beneath the soil.

In SW quadrant of ringfort (CO061-015001-). Hartnett (1939, 191) recorded an opening leading to a 'long chamber 20 x 4 feet with stone lined walls and flagged roof. There is an opening 15in wide and 10in high leading to a second chamber' which could not be examined but 'appeared to be of similar construction to the main chamber'. No visible surface trace.
