Knockbrack ridge hides a man-made passage beneath improved pasture, according to local tradition. The exact entrance remains uncertain, possibly swallowed by a rath or buried under centuries of grass and foot traffic. What is clear is that people shaped the ridge below ground, building a route no longer visible but still remembered.

In improved pasture, located on the broad, undulating ridge top. According to local tradition, there is an ‘underground passage’ on the ridge.
