Man-made underground passage in Toormore (kilconnell By.)

Discovered during ploughing sometime before 1936, it is described in correspondence as a 'Man-made underground passage', but its exact location is unknown (Topgr. Files, NMI). A second 'Man-made underground passage' is also mentioned as being 'nearby', possibly a reference to GA086-231001- The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Galway Vol. II - North Galway'.
