Man-made underground passage in Ballymabilla

Associated with a rectangular house (GA086-047004-) which is centrally placed within a cashel(GA086-047001-). Immediately outside W wall of the house is a roughly square depression (L 2m, With 2.35m) up to 0.3m in depth. In it is a large lintel-like stone, beneath which more stone is visible. A number of limestone blocks are also visible immediately to W of it, possible representing a drystone-built side-wall.
