Coleman (1950, 29) records that 'in the field north-west of Mr Tim Scanlan's house, a Man-made underground passage was discovered which, it is stated, leads into a natural cave' (SMR file). See field inspection report (NF6, 32) (SMR file). According to the field report, there is no visible surface trace of the Man-made underground passage and it is not known about locally.
