According to local information, c. 1970 a truck caused collapse which revealed "a big cavity with a tunnel leading away from it in two directions". Exact location not known. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 3: Mid Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
