What is recorded here
Shangarry is not a distant fantasy but a real underground passage inside a rath in County Galway. The hollow in the earth may still mark the place where people dug beneath the ground. They may have hidden things, avoided storms or simply wanted to belong somewhere unusual. That is why the hole still matters.
Within the SSW sector of the interior of a rath (GA106-149----). A hollow may mark the site of a Man-made underground passage.
