Underground chambers once hid inside Liosna Mna Oige, one of three lost ringforts near Sarsfieldscourt. Power recorded them in 1917, but human activity or forgotten construction has erased the site from modern view. The passage may have stored grain, sheltered people during storms, or served a lesser purpose now forgotten. Its disappearance reminds us that even solid stone can vanish when no one remembers where to look.

Power (1917, 205) records 'underground chambers' in a ringfort named 'Liosna Mna Oige', one of three ringforts all of which are destroyed. The location of two of these ringforts (CO063-042---; CO063-044---) is known, however, none is named on OS 6-inch maps. Exact location of Man-made underground passage is therefore unknown.
