Man-made underground passage in Rappareehill

Ten metres of forgotten tunnel stretch beneath a rath in County Longford, bending into an L-shape before collapsing into a shallow depression. People dug through solid earth there, perhaps to hide, reach water or connect rooms now lost. The passage has vanished except for a narrow scar in the ground, yet the angle of that scar still points toward the hidden route below.
