What is recorded here
On a low but prominent hillock in pasture. A raised oval area (43.2m WNW-ESE; 30.7m NNE-SSW) enclosed by a substantial, although partially denuded, bank of earth and stone (Wth 6.8m; H 1.1-1.7m) with a wide, shallow, external fosse (Wth 6.1m; D 1.1m). At the outer lip of the fosse from ESE-SE-S are fragmentary remains of a modern drystone-built field wall. Either of two narrow breaks in bank, at ENE (Wth 1.9m) and at WSW (1.6m), with accompanying causeways may mark the original entrance.
