What is recorded here

Two hollows on the west side of a possible ringfort in Raffeen hinted at underground passages before quarrying destroyed the site. O'Leary noted them in 1919, but the ground has forgotten its own shape. What remains is only the absence of a hole, a phantom tunnel buried under progress and silence.

In possible ringfort (CO087-034---). According to O'Leary (1919, 34) 'two hollows on the west side of the lios point to the existence of Man-made underground passages'.
