Man-made underground passage in Moneymore

Moneymore, Drogheda and Mellifont Abbey may have shared a hidden underground link, according to local tradition. Whether monks built the passage for secret travel or people invented it to make the landscape sound larger, the claim still touches the area. Both places remain active and visible, which gives the hidden link a reasonable shape. The absence of a known entrance does not remove the possibility that a chamber, tunnel or forgotten route still waits beneath the ground.
