Man-made underground passage in Moneygold is a man-made underground passage in Moneygold, County Sligo, Ireland. It lies in pasture about 35 metres west of a graveyard and 70 metres east-northeast of a holy well. A low rise 15 metres north-south and 4 to 5 metres east-west marks the site, with a slight scarp at the southwest and northwest and a shallow depression 4 to 5 metres across at the east. A surface opening 0.4 metres north-south and 0.3 metres east-west, made when a roof lintel was removed in the past, reveals a drystone chamber 4 metres wide and 2.25 metres high internally.

In pasture, located c. 35m W of a graveyard (SL005-005002-), and c. 70m ENE of a holy well (SL005-04001-). The location of the Man-made underground passage is marked by a low rise (c. 15m N–S; c. 4-5m E–W) in the surface of the field. The rise is defined at SW-NW by a slight scarp, and is bordering at E by a shallow surface depression (c. 4-5m across). A surface opening (0.4m N–S; 0.3m E–W), created by the removal in the past of a roof lintel, reveals a drystone-built chamber (Wth c. 4m; int. H c. 2.25m). A passage appears to extend to S from the chamber. The surface opening to the chamber is now covered by concrete slabs and a boulder. Compiled by: Jane O'Shaughnessy Date of upload: 16 October 2015
