Magic and mystery surround Magheraboy. The hidden passage may still breathe beneath the cashel, waiting for someone brave enough to listen for its shape in the dirt.

Located in a cashel (MA074-009----). There is a local tradition of a Man-made underground passage in the interior of the cashel. A shallow depression, defined on the S side by a slight N-facing scarp, is evident in the NE quadrant. This may be surface subsidence above a subterranean passage, however, there is no definitive evidence to confirm this. The exact location of the Man-made underground passage remains unknown.
