Man-made underground passage in Lisnagoorneen

At S side of levelled rectangular enclosure (CO026-02201-). Grove White (1905-25, vol. 4, 38) recorded 'an oblong fort with chambers underneath, having steps leading down to them. There was an arched passage, choked with stuff that looked like soot (probably result of cremation)'. According to local information, entrance to Man-made underground passage discovered outside ramparts on S side; later infilled by landowner. No visible surface trace.
