Man-made underground passage in Killin (dundalk Upper By.)

The following description is derived from both the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Louth' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1986) and the 'Archaeological Survey of County Louth' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1991). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research. Date of upload/revision: 17 July 2007 Drystone-built Man-made underground passage consisting of two passages forming a roughly T-shaped plan. The first passage (L c. 5m, Wth c. 1.5m, H c. 1.5m) extends to the middle of a second passage (L c. 10m, Wth c. 1.5m, H c. 1.5m) which runs at right angles.
