Man-made underground passage in Killark (farney By.)

Located in a fold between drumlins, the summits of which are c. 200-250m to the NW and NNE. There is a local belief that there was a ‘cave’, probably a Man-made underground passage, N of a farmhouse in Killark, but there is no reference to it from Killark school in the Schools’ Manuscripts from the 1930s, for which see this web-page accessed on 15/06/2017: http://www.duchas.ie/en/cbes/4723809 If it exists its precise location cannot be identified.
