Island-Dahill is a ringfort in County Cork where a hidden underground passage once ran beneath the soil. Bowman recorded in 1934 that the tunnel could no longer be found, erasing the chance to walk the dark route people once cut through earth. The loss is not empty; it is a room closed without a door, waiting for someone to remember the shape of what is gone.

In ringfort (CO030-130---). According to Bowman (1934, 337), 'Man-made underground passage is said to have been in this fort also, but could not now be found'. No visible surface trace.
