What is recorded here

Under the earthen bank of a Kerry rath, a stone-built passage once cut through solid ground. People walked beneath the hill while others believed they stood above ordinary earth. The opening has vanished, but the hidden route still belongs to the landscape and remembers the weight of every forgotten step.

In a rath (KE048-077----). According to local information, an opening to a stone-built passage was visible in the external face of the bank at NE. There are no visible remains of this opening.
