Edenakill in County Louth, Ireland. Flat slabs protrude from the ground inside the ringfort, suggesting a hidden passage beneath the soil. The stones mark a deliberate choice to build downward rather than upward, creating a shadowed space where human hands shaped the earth for entry, exit or concealment.
