Man-made underground passage in Dromagorteen

In Bonane Heritage Park, on a SW-facing slope. A short trench (D 1.5m) slopes down to the E. A partially collapsed opening (Wth 1m; H 0.4m) reveals an earth-cut passage with a curving roof extending at least 2m to the E. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry. Volume I: South-West Kerry' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
