Man-made underground passage in Derrynacoulagh — Report the wrong picture

Derrynacoulagh hides a vanished passage inside its rath, where local memory places stone-flagged rooms beneath the southern soil. The ground keeps that shape no longer, yet the claim survives because people repeated it after the markers disappeared. You can still drop a rope into that dark and listen for the echo of a chamber that stopped answering long ago.

In a rath (KE102-007----). According to local information, an entrance to an underground passage and 'rooms', roofed over with stone flags, is located in the S half of the interior of the rath. There are no visible remains of this possible Man-made underground passage. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
