Derrycashel holds a hidden passage in its eastern half, where two flat roof slabs once broke through the soil before disappearing beneath the ground. The stones vanished without warning, perhaps buried by shifting earth or deliberate hands, leaving behind a hollow promise instead of a visible chamber. What remains is a shape remembered rather than seen, a underground room that refuses to show itself but still occupies the mind.

Located in a cashel (MA072-082----). There is a local tradition of a Man-made underground passage in the E half of the cashel: Two flat stones, possibly roof slabs, were said to have been exposed on the surface in the past, but were covered over and are not visible now.
