A cashel (SL003-028001-) was identified here in 1942 by an OPW fieldworker. A Man-made underground passage was recorded within its interior. According to the report the Man-made underground passage, although closed up, was still intact. (SMR file) The monument has since been levelled and there are no remains of either cashel or Man-made underground passage now visible.
