Man-made underground passage in Creevagh (burren By.)

Situated in the S sector of a cashel (CL010-200001-), this partly collapsed Man-made underground passage (min. 4.9m NNE-SSW) comprises a roofless N section (L 2.4m; int. W 1.7m; D 0.8m) where the side-walls are visible, and an inaccessible S section (L 2.5m; D 0.2-0.9m) which is covered by five lintels. The middle lintel is broken and has fallen into the Man-made underground passage. The top of a large slab (L 1.1m; H 0.2m; T 0.05-0.2m) which forms the W side-wall at SSW end is visible. The area to the SW and NW of the Man-made underground passage is slightly built up with earth.
